Canary Islands: can you stay overnight in a motorhome?
Yes, with the motorhome properly parked and where parking is allowed, unless the municipal by-law says otherwise. Since 1 October 2026, article 92.4 of the Reglamento General de Circulación (Real Decreto 518/2026) says when it is properly parked: nothing outside its footprint, resting only on its wheels (with levelling chocks if needed) and no fluids emptied. Putting out an awning or chairs is camping, and each municipality regulates that. In national parks and on the beach you cannot stay overnight outside the designated places.
